New year always brings new enquiries to us here at Redrose, so we thought that it was important to highlight our full range of quality accreditations, and what those mean for you as our valued customer.
As a manufacturer, we’ve worked tirelessly over the last 30 years to provide the highest quality service and products to our customers worldwide. Maintaining these exceptional standards requires regular audits, collaboration with expert consultants, and a commitment to exceeding the stringent criteria set by accreditation bodies.
Here’s a closer look at some of our key certifications and what they mean for you:
Food Safety System Certificate (FSSC 22000) with Lloyds Register
We’ve proudly adhered to ISO 22000 standards for many years and recently were audited once again (December 24) for the prestigious Food Safety System Certification (FSSC 22000) following the elements of ISO 22000:2018, ISO/TS 22002-1:2009 and additional FSSC22000 requirements with Lloyds Register.
These certifications are internationally recognised benchmarks for the safety of food, feed, and packaging systems. In December 2024, our team, led by Quality Manager Louella Gerber, received outstanding praise from auditors who highlighted:
- The exceptional culture we’ve cultivated, showcasing teamwork and collaboration.
- The dedication of our people, whose commitment to quality excellence drives our success.
- Our robust Quality Management System, ensuring consistency and integrity at every level.
Halal Certification – Accredited through The Halal Trust
Our Halal certification ensures that our products meet strict Islamic law and standards. This allows us to cater to the growing Halal market and provide peace of mind to end-users worldwide.
Achieving this certification involved implementing a comprehensive Halal Policy, which is understood and integrated across all departments. Additionally, a thorough site visit confirmed our full compliance throughout the manufacturing process and within our final products.
Kosher Certification – Accredited through Kashrus Medicines Information Service
Obtaining Kosher certification means that we can manufacture products under Jewish dietary laws, validated by a Rabbinic agency.
This certification ensures that all equipment, machinery, and ingredients used in our processes meet kosher standards, verified by a kosher auditor, a testament to our commitment to serving diverse markets with integrity and care.
Vegan and Vegetarian Suitability
As Veganuary gains momentum, we’re proud to support the growing vegan and vegetarian community with our dedicated commitment to provide formulations suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
To meet these suitability requirements, we stock hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) capsules, a vegan-friendly alternative to gelatin capsules. We also use plant-based ingredients like vegan Vitamin D3 and vegan collagen among many other key vegan ingredients ensuring inclusivity for all dietary preferences.
GMP Certification
GMP, or Good Manufacturing Practice, is a set of rigorous quality standards that we adhere to across our operations. At Redrose, we ensure that every product meets these benchmarks by continually enhancing our practices and working closely with our Quality Assurance team.
Organic Certification: Sustainability You Can Trust
At Redrose, we believe that quality goes hand-in-hand with sustainability. That’s why we’re proud to hold Organic Certification from the Biodynamic Association. This prestigious accreditation guarantees that our products are crafted using responsibly sourced organic ingredients, free from synthetic fertilisers, pesticides, and harmful chemicals. By choosing organic, we not only promote healthier lifestyles but also contribute to the preservation of our planet, ensuring a better future for generations to come.
FDA Registration: Supporting Success in the U.S. Market
As a globally recognised manufacturer, we’re proud to be FDA registered, a key certification that supports our customers’ sales and distribution in the United States. This registration ensures that our facilities comply with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s strict safety and quality regulations, giving our customers the confidence to market their products manufactured at Redrose to the highly regulated U.S. market. By maintaining this registration, we help our partners expand their reach and build trust with their customers across the globe.
