Position Overview

As a Manufacturing Production Operator at Redrose Nutraceuticals, you will carry out all aspects of the manufacturing process in line with company standards for performance, quality, safety and current food legislation within a GMP environment.

 

Your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient and safe production of high-quality nutraceutical products. This includes setting up machinery, running production orders according to the production schedule, completing documentation, and strictly following quality, safety and internal procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manufacturing Excellence: Work in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMP, and food safety requirements to ensure efficient and compliant production.
  2. Documentation & Records: Accurately complete all batch documentation and production logs, including entries in the company database where required, and submit all records to the Line Manager on time.
  3. Production Schedule: Follow the daily production schedule set by the Line Manager to ensure orders are completed on time.
  4. Product Quality: Manufacture products in line with approved specifications and promptly report any issues or deviations to minimise impact on the business.
  5. Cleaning & Hygiene: Ensure equipment and production areas are cleaned to the required standard and that cleaning records are completed accurately.
  6. Equipment Care: Ensure machinery is properly maintained, cleaned at the end of each shift, and that any defects are reported immediately.
  1. Compliance: Follow all company procedures within the Quality Management System to maintain compliance with FSSC 22000 (Food Safety) and food law requirements. Report any deviations or non-conformities identified to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
  1. Safety: Follow all Health & Safety procedures, wear required PPE, report hazards, and raise any concerns relating to safety or regulatory compliance.
  2. Professional Standards: Maintain a clean working area, professional behaviour, and strict company confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

  • A good general level of education with basic numeracy and literacy skills to complete documentation accurately
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or GMP environment is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided
  • Basic computer skills for completing production and quality records
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a regulated environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials safely

Position Overview

As a Quality Assurance Officer at Redrose Nutraceuticals, you will be responsible for ensuring that all food supplements manufactured and packed by the company meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This role involves monitoring production processes, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and applicable local and international food regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Control & Assurance:
    • Monitor and inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for compliance with quality standards.
    • Conduct routine audits and inspections of production processes and laboratory activities.
    • Maintain and update quality documentation, including SOPs, batch records, and deviation reports.
  2. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Follow all procedures within the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with local regulations and the requirements of certifying bodies (FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, etc.).
    • Report any deviations, non-conformities, or regulatory concerns promptly
    • Support audits conducted by certifying bodies and ensure all documents and records are maintained, up to date, and readily accessible as needed.
  3. Documentation & Reporting:
    • Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, and test data.
    • Investigate product complaints, non-conformances, and implement corrective actions (CAPA).
    • Generate periodic QA reports for management review.
  4. Training & Awareness:
    • Train production staff on quality standards, SOPs, and hygiene practices (PPE).
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality consciousness across departments.
  5. Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify areas for process improvement to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
    • Participate in internal and external audits and implement corrective and preventive actions.
    • Demonstrate professional behaviour and maintain strict company confidentiality

Requirements

 

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field is a plus.

Experience: 2–5 years of experience in quality assurance within food, nutraceuticals, or dietary supplement manufacturing is desirable.

Knowledge: Good understanding of GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and relevant food regulations.

Skills:

Position Overview

As a Warehouse Support Operative at Redrose Nutraceuticals, you will support the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse, handling raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished food supplement products. You will help ensure that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and safely, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and stock control. Working in a GMP-regulated environment, you will also support compliance with FSSC 22000, food safety regulations, and company quality procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Warehouse Cleanliness & Maintenance
• Keep warehouse and packing areas clean, organised, and safe
• Ensure fire exits remain clear
• Remove empty pallets and sort recyclables
• Support basic forklift readiness checks (e.g. charging, cleanliness)

Documentation & Administration
• Match delivery notes to received goods and help prepare GRNs
• Complete routine checklists (forklift checks, cleaning logs)
• Maintain accurate records for Quality handover

Packing Support
• Work with the Production Team Leader to prepare picking lists to schedule
• Keep airlock and controlled areas tidy and clutter-free

Quality & Stock Handling
• Complete cleaning and maintenance tasks per SOPs and record them
• Report damaged or non-conforming materials/products to Quality
• Ensure stock is labelled, stored safely, and rotated (FIFO/FEFO)
• Move expired or rejected stock to designated quarantine areas

General Duties
• Maintain a neat, professional work area
• Follow company safety, hygiene, and conduct guidelines
• Report hazards or damaged equipment promptly
• Wear required PPE and follow Health & Safety procedures
• Support company quality and attendance standards

Additional Support
• Assist with other reasonable warehouse tasks as needed
• Inform your Line Manager if support or training is required

Requirements

  • Basic literacy and numeracy; warehouse/logistics training or experience a plus
  • Warehouse, logistics, or packing experience desirable (training provided)
  • Awareness of GMP, food safety, or warehouse practices advantageous
  • Familiarity with inventory or record-keeping systems a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to follow instructions and complete basic documentation
  • Organised with good time management
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and professional with a willingness to learn and show initiative
