A huge congratulations to our Quality Manager, Louella Gerber for being shortlisted in the North East England Chamber’s Inspiring Female Awards. Louella has been shortlisted for Inspiring Female in the International Business category.
Being a finalist is incredibly well deserved as Louella has worked tirelessly over her five years with Redrose to help us achieve quality accreditations and certifications that allow us to provide the best possible products to our customers around the world.
In the award entry for Louella, David Goodings, Managing Director of Redrose, said:
“Accreditations may seem like checklists for some organisations, however in our industry and in the countries we operate in around the globe, they are vital to do business. 70% of the time, the first question one of our customers will ask is about which accreditations we have as these are critical to reassure the customer and ensure the products we manufacture can be exported into their country and used by their customers.
“As a department head working alongside the Managing Director and the rest of the management team, Louella’s communication and ability to deliver, train and implement new quality management processes has developed year upon year and she now regularly leads in our meetings to ensure her department’s work is strategically filtering into other areas of the factory. As a business we always ensure that quality comes before production and Louella’s drive, determination and tireless work has helped this to become the first thought and focus within our production teams.”
We can’t thank Louella enough for her dedication and commitment and look forward to celebrating her achievements at the glittering awards ceremony on November 24.
