In our industry, where precision and deadlines are critical, it’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day priorities, which is why I always mark Christmas as not just a time for celebration, but also an opportunity to pause, reflect and plan for what’s ahead.

This year has been another year of incredible growth for Redrose, its team, our customer base and also the nutraceutical industry as a whole, which continues to report record growth figures year-upon-year

As always, the first thanks must be to our dedicated team that has continued to develop and enhance their skillset this year. From continuing courses for quality training, team leader development workshops and advanced health and safety training, our staff members have been even more committed to improving upon their already high standards.

In addition to this, we have been delighted to welcome Zoe Ryan as our Operations Manager, who has been instrumental and played a pivotal role with helping to manage and drive the improvements within our business. There are also a number of additional appointments that we’re looking forward to announcing in 2025. Watch this space.

Our production team is continuing to grow too, as is our production line. This year, we made further investments into our production technology  and equipment to further improve efficiencies on glass bottling and our in-demand letter-box friendly type bottles amongst other things. Feedback from both our staff and our customers has been exceptional, and we’re already mapping out even more line and digital improvement plans so that we can stay at the forefront of technology in 2025.

The ultimate goal for us here at Redrose is to offer our customers the most efficient and highest  levels of service and quality in the industry, and every year we are tirelessly committed to this target. Over the last few months we have continued to invest in our digital resource management and planning system and have even begun testing and adopting new AI technologies.

This naturally leads on to my next thank you to our key and critical suppliers, who are extremely vital in ensuring we offer the most efficient operation and high quality end product. To everyone from our engineers and trusted ingredient and packaging suppliers, to our independent consultants, logistics and shipping experts and other technical support, thank you for helping our business to grow year upon year.

This week, we have again been audited for our Food System Safety Certificate and ISO 22000 (FSSC 22000) Certification through Lloyds Register which I am delighted to say has been a resounding success. Our Quality Manager, Louella Gerber, assisted by Zoe Ryan have had three full days of gruelling auditing which have been really challenging but hugely successful. We received only one minor non-conformances which is astounding and the Auditter from Lloyds was hugely complimentary about our business, how we operate and the people within it. In addition to this we have continued upholding and strengthening our rigid quality management processes, and proactively booking in audits to ensure we’re continue to adhere to the high standards of FSSC 22000, GMP, Halal, Kosher and Organic certifications as these are all critically important for our business.

Looking forward, we’re already deep into the process of working on a major update to our website to ensure new and existing customers have all of the information they need at their fingertips. This will be available for everyone to view early in the New Year.

Speaking of customers, to close this message, I must give the most important  and heartfelt  thank you to our loyal, dedicated and growing customer base that continues to make waves in the nutraceutical industry. We are incredibly proud and grateful to be your chosen as one of your manufacturing partners we and look forward to working in collaboration with you for many years to come. We can’t wait to see what success 2025 has in store for all of you and we will continue to work tirelessly to try to help make your businesses even more successful in the future.

To our team, customers, suppliers, friends and colleagues, I’d like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year on behalf of myself and everyone at Redrose.

Thank you all again for a fantastic year.
