Here at Redrose it always feels as though time goes by far too quickly, but 2023 seems to have been on fast forward throughout the year and I can’t quite believe I’m already writing this further Christmas update to you.

As I always start each of these reviews, my first thanks has to be to our fantastic dedicated team and extended consultants that help to make everything we do here possible. Every year at Redrose, we grow a little bigger and we always try to offer a little bit more as we strive to become even more efficient and effective in everything we do. That’s all down to the passion, the commitment, the capabilities, the talent and the expertise within our business and in our extended teams. Without their hard work and dedication it would never be possible to provide the high quality products and the exceptional customer service we always aim to offer.

In addition, we would never want to forget our key and critical suppliers who are also instrumental in helping to make our business the success it is. Given the unrivalled lead times we offer to our customers for finished products I do know and appreciate that on occasions we ask for your support to assist with the procurement of ingredients and other raw materials, which is still sometimes difficult with the continuing worldwide logistical issues. Your support, commitment and dedication to Redrose is never forgotten and never goes unnoticed so sincere thanks for everything you do to help and support our business.

The year started with preparations for the White Label Expo, a highlight in our calendar. The event offers us the perfect opportunity to meet and catch-up with existing contacts, learn and network with individuals from our industry and of course start new flourishing relationships with customers from far and wide. This year was a bumper year and with Redrose as one of the main sponsors with the lanyards and we made over sixty new contacts. We’re already working on our 2024 preparations, so watch this space!

You may have also noticed this year, a refresh on our website and the introduction of our Knowledge Hub. Now, instead of simply sharing Redrose news, we can share with you all the latest product and ingredient insights so that you know exactly what’s trending in the nutraceutical market. However, I must express that these changes are simply the beginning and we have a very exciting online development to launch early next year.

We have continued our work in upholding and striving towards new quality accreditations and most recently we’ve passed our Food System Safety Certification incorporated with our ISO 22000 certification to achieve FSSC 22000 through Lloyds Register. Our quality achievements are all thanks to our fantastic Quality Manager Louella Gerber and the entire team who have worked tirelessly to ensure that Redrose adheres to strict standards within all of our compliance and regulatory processes.

Speaking of Louella, congratulations must be said for her fantastic progression within the business which earned her a spot as a finalist in the recent North East Chamber of Commerce Inspiring Females Awards. Without Louella’s determination and unfaltering commitment to the work we do, we would never have advanced so quickly as a business, and we’re incredibly proud of her for getting so far in the awards.

Although the economic landscape is often unpredictable, we hope that 2024 and everything it brings will allow for a year of continued growth and even more prosperity for our customers, associates and their internal teams.

To close, I couldn’t finish off this message without offering the most crucial thank you. To our customers old and new, we are so proud to be your manufacturing partner and would like to express our sincerest gratitude to you for working in collaboration and so that our ventures may grow together. We very much look forward to catching up with you all in the New Year and continuing to work together in what we hope will be the most incredibly successful endeavours throughout 2024.

To our team, customers, friends and acquaintances, I’d like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy, prosperous and healthy New Year on behalf of myself and everyone at Redrose.

Thank you again and sending all of our best wishes to you and your families,

David Goodings

Managing Director
