Redrose Nutraceutical Manufacturer has tripled its production capacity thanks to the installation of a new bottling line.

After a steady stream of contract wins, the manufacturer has made a number of significant investments, renovating a previously unused area of the factory to house the new state-of-the-art machinery.

The line was installed and developed by Pharma Packaging Systems Limited, based in Pershore, Worcestershire, who worked with Redrose to create the line and tailor it to adhere to the industry’s high-quality requirements.

David Goodings, Managing Director at Redrose, said: “This was a vital step for us to take as a business, we work with some of the biggest names in the nutraceutical industry and as their demand continues to increase, so must our supply.

“It’s also incredibly important for us to be able to offer the fastest turnaround time possible within the industry, which is why we will always endeavour to have the most technologically advanced equipment manufacturing our products.

“The new line is also less labour intensive, which means we can further enhance the training and development of our staff, giving them the opportunity to become more involved and experienced in other areas of the factory – a huge benefit as we continue to grow and demand fluctuates in other departments.”

Along with the new production line, the manufacturing space has been re-designed to comply with strict industry standards as Redrose prepares to work towards further accreditations.

Andrew Kennedy, Director of Pharma Packaging Systems Ltd, said: “Pharma Packaging Systems was very happy to be engaged with Redrose in the development of the new packaging line specification and the final line scope was worked out through a close collaboration between companies. The discussions considered to best methods of automation and which products and packaging best suited the new line whilst considering future-proofing for new opportunities that would inevitably arise.”

David added: “It’s been a very exciting year for us here, from a complete rebrand to new marketing opportunities, staff and now a whole new production line. We cannot wait for our customers old and new to see what we’ve been doing.”
