Can you briefly describe your experience working with us and what made you choose us as your manufacturer for your Nutraceuticals?

When we were looking to create our brand and begin our journey into the supplements market, we researched and reached out to more than a dozen companies. Redrose stood out as having one of the most informative and engaging websites during our research. And so, based on the layout, detail, and clarity of information provided, meant even from this early stage, we felt Redrose was probably the front runner of companies we wanted to make contact with.

The interest and enthusiasm from David and his team from the outset, made us instantly feel our business was wanted, and they were interested to help. This meant we could already see this would be a company who we could engage and interact with easily, and with whom a good business relationship would be had.

Did our expertise help you form a more effective or market-ready product?

Right from the very beginning, it was easy to communicate our initial ideas and product formulation concepts over to Redrose. This was an important aspect to our relationship that we could come up with ideas and concepts around formulations and ingredients, and Redrose could take our ideas, offer guidance, and give their opinions and input into what we were trying to create.

 Again – it reiterates our earlier point of feeling right from the beginning this was a company we felt we could work with easily – and it was!

How satisfied were you with the quality of the Nutraceuticals produced and did you find our production timelines and flexibility aligned with your needs?

We made a point of paying a personal visit to the factory. So despite the 10 hour round trip, we felt it important to meet with the company and team with whom we were about to invest in and start our supplement journey and business relationship with. To see first-hand where our products were to be made and the set-up they had in place with quality checks, ingredient checks, bottle checks etc. further strengthened our belief we had chosen the right business to work with.

 

David had said early on he felt their production lead times were some of the shortest in the industry, and given these were our first products, having a lower M.O.Q. requirement than many others, meant we again felt we had chosen the right manufacturer for our business to move forward with. – And yes, they were delivered in exactly the lead time and timescale that David said they would.

How well did we meet your expectations regarding packaging and labelling?

Their packaging and label requirements were supplied along with the formulation details and certificates very early on, with exact guidelines and bottle measurements etc. This meant we could pass to our designer at the very earliest stages of design, meaning the measurements and guidelines were designed in from the outset and meant the barcode and fonts used etc were readable and to perfect scale.

We were actually surprised how quickly the label designs came back to us for final approval from Redrose and their label supplier. The completed labels, and particularly their finish, was exactly what we had hoped for on our finished product.

David has been back to us a couple of times with further packaging ideas and concepts we had briefly discussed many months earlier, showing we still have an ongoing relationship long after our initial products have been delivered.

How would you rate our communication and support throughout the process?

I think time proves we chose wisely with Redrose, and ultimately they also chose to believe and work with us. We have always felt that any supplier should be seen as a business partner and not just a company that makes or delivers just a product. Good working relationships don’t just happen by chance; they are a building of a mutual relationship that works on providing the right outcome for both parties.

Redrose have been a great company to work with and communication between us is speedy, and I guess easy. Meaning we have had no real challenges to speak of that either of us have had to overcome – that speaks volumes really.

Would you recommend us to other companies looking for supplement manufacturing services?

I guess there were many factors that ultimately led us to choose Redrose and place our order with them. But one thing in particular I look out for from any supplier is communication and engagement – particularly to the first enquiry you make. If they come across as not particularly interested, or slow, or lacking interest, or ask you to call back a week on Monday, or when they’re not so busy etc etc. then your initial gut feelings are not good and leaves you questioning – how is this relationship going to be & develop moving forward? Probably not good!

So, it was how our initial enquiry to Redrose was responded to by David. The interest and engagement in his response to what we had said and what we were hoping to produce was the key point, the starting block if you like, that then led to our continued communication between us.

So, it goes right back to that initial enquiry, and all the communication since, that has ultimately led us to choose Redrose and to have our products produced by them.

 We hope to be working with Redrose for many more years to come.
